What is Clico?
Clico is an AI workspace that brings research, writing, image generation, and video creation into a single conversation thread. Switching between separate tools for each of those tasks means rebuilding context every time, copying text, re-uploading files, and re-explaining what you were doing. Clico keeps the research, the files, the generated visuals, and the follow-up questions all in the same chat.
The AI workspace runs as a browser-based Web app and a Mac desktop agent. The Chrome Extension that gives you an AI assistant that works beside whatever page you already have open. You can pick from models by Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, Moonshot AI, and DeepSeek depending on what the task needs. Writers, marketers, researchers, students, and anyone who does knowledge work that mixes reading with creating will find it useful.

- Photo Editing: Upload a photo, describe the changes in plain language, and get an edited version back. Clico can preserve or modify the subject, setting, style, or composition.
- Video Generation: Render finished MP4 videos from a prompt or reference image. Generation runs in the background so you can leave and return when the file is ready.
- Multi-Model Selector: Switch between Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok, Kimi, and DeepSeek models inside the AI workspace and the extension. The picker shows each model’s supported input types and plan availability.
- Persona Selection: Choose a built-in persona or create a custom one to guide tone, wording, rhythm, and style across any writing task.
- File Analysis: Upload PDFs, DOCX, PPTX, TXT, MD, CSV, and XLSX files. The current composer accepts up to ten attachments per request, with a combined limit of 20MB.
- Long-Form Writing: Draft and revise extended written content using any supported model in the conversation thread.
- Voice Input: Hold Fn on Mac and speak naturally. Clico uses the current screen context to answer in place.
- Screen Reading (Desktop): The Mac desktop agent reads the open app, file, image, or selected content you point it at. No manual copying required.
- Cross-App Execution (Desktop): Clico can carry steps across multiple Mac apps. It asks for approval before writing, sending, creating, or clicking anything on your behalf.
- Magic Cursor (Extension): Point at any element on a page, including charts, tables, images, UI components, and error messages, capture it, and ask about it in the same conversation.
- YouTube Summarization (Extension): Summarize video content and ask follow-up questions while watching, without leaving the page.
- Page Summarization (Extension): Double-press the keyboard shortcut on any page to get a structured summary. Works on articles, research papers, documentation, and email threads.
- PDF Summarization (Extension): Trigger a summary of any open PDF, extract key points, explain difficult sections, and continue asking questions about the document.
- Highlight and Ask (Extension): Select text on any webpage to explain, summarize, rewrite, or translate it. The selection becomes the context without copying it elsewhere.
- Auto Typer (Extension): Generate text and type it directly into Google Docs and other browser editors with natural pacing, rather than pasting a block all at once.
- Write and Reply in the Browser (Extension): Open Clico inside Gmail, Google Docs, LinkedIn, Reddit, and other text fields. Draft replies, rewrite selected text, change tone, and insert the result directly into the page.
- @ Context Mentions (Extension): Type @ inside Clico to bring open tabs, saved memos, and highlights into a prompt. You choose exactly what context the model sees.

Real-World Applications
Pulling together a competitive analysis means juggling a lot of open tabs. Clico’s AI assistant can search from several angles, open the pages that matter, and keep citations attached to the claims they support. When the draft is ready, the sources are already in the same conversation, and sharing the whole thing is one link.
Video content takes longer to produce when the reference is on one screen and the generation tool is somewhere else. The Chrome Extension can grab a still from any page, shape a prompt around it, and pass the work to Clico Web for image or video generation. The finished MP4 renders in the background and waits until you’re ready.
Google Docs has a text box. Clico works in it. Open Clico with a keyboard shortcut, apply a custom persona to rewrite a stiff AI-written passage, and Auto Typer drops the revision back into the document line by line at a natural pace. No paste, no tab switch.
